- Lead and mentor a team of epidemiologists and observational research scientists, fostering scientific excellence and professional development.
- Develop and execute real-world evidence (RWE) strategies that support product development, regulatory requirements, commercialization goals, and post-marketing safety initiatives.
- Design, oversee, and interpret observational studies focused on disease burden, treatment outcomes, healthcare utilization, patient populations, and therapeutic effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify evidence gaps and align observational research initiatives with broader business and clinical priorities.
- Utilize real-world data and advanced analytical approaches to inform strategic decisions across multiple stages of the product lifecycle.
- Guide research planning, resource prioritization, and portfolio management to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external experts, and key leaders in observational research and epidemiology.
- Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and initiatives that enhance organizational research capabilities and visibility.
- Doctorate degree with at least 4 years of scientific experience, Master’s degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant scientific experience.
- Advanced expertise in epidemiology, observational research, or related disciplines with strong exposure to real-world evidence methodologies.
- Proven experience designing, conducting, and analyzing observational research studies within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or public health environments.
- Strong understanding of drug development processes, regulatory expectations, and post-marketing evidence generation strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing scientific teams and collaborating within cross-functional environments.
- Excellent project management, communication, analytical, and scientific writing skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and provide strategic recommendations using complex clinical and real-world data insights.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary, fast-paced environments with competing priorities and evolving business needs.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $187,271 – $253,366 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
