We’re searching for a Laboratory Analyst to support trace metals analysis within our environmental laboratory team in Commerce City, CO.
This is an exciting opportunity for a laboratory professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys hands-on analytical testing, laboratory instrumentation, and producing accurate, high-quality data in support of environmental compliance and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and motivated by supporting daily laboratory operations, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within a collaborative team environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform sample preparation and trace metals analyses on environmental samples in accordance with approved methods, SOPs, and regulatory standards
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ICP, ICP-OES, and/or ICP-MS instrumentation and laboratory equipment
- Evaluate test results for accuracy, trends, and out-of-specification conditions, escalating issues as needed
- Accurately record, review, and validate data within LIMS system
- Support QA/QC programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain proper sample handling, labeling, and chain of custody procedures
- Assist with general laboratory housekeeping, inventory management, and cross-training as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related area; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Demonstrated hands-on analytical laboratory experience in a professional environment
- Proven experience with ICP, ICP-OES, and/or ICP-MS instrumentation strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with LIMS systems is a plus

Work Schedule
- Full-time, onsite position
- Ability to work beyond standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs require
