This role owns a high-impact enterprise product portfolio spanning mainframe monitoring and storage solutions used in mission-critical environments worldwide. You will be responsible for shaping product strategy, defining and evolving roadmaps, and driving revenue growth across mature yet strategically important software products. Working at the intersection of engineering, sales, and customer engagement, you will translate complex customer needs into prioritized product decisions that balance innovation with technical feasibility. This position requires close collaboration with global enterprise customers operating in mainframe and hybrid infrastructures, where reliability and performance are essential. You will also act as a key connector between market needs and internal execution teams, ensuring alignment across product, marketing, and go-to-market efforts. This is a high-ownership role where strategic thinking, technical depth, and execution speed directly influence business outcomes.
- Own and evolve the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap across TMON and storage-related enterprise software solutions.
- Define and prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, revenue opportunities, and engineering capacity.
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision aligned with business objectives and communicate it across all stakeholders.
- Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand requirements, validate solutions, and identify unmet needs.
- Monitor competitive and market trends in the mainframe and infrastructure software ecosystem to ensure strong product differentiation.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to make informed technical trade-offs and guide product development decisions.
- Support sales and marketing teams with positioning, competitive insights, and go-to-market materials that drive adoption and revenue.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful product launches, lifecycle management, and continuous portfolio optimization.
This role requires at least 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, ideally within mainframe, infrastructure, or storage-related environments. Candidates should demonstrate a strong ability to balance technical understanding with business strategy, as well as experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder products in Agile environments.
- 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise software, preferably in mainframe, storage, or infrastructure domains.
- Proven success driving revenue growth or product performance improvements in established product portfolios.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments such as IBM mainframe, hybrid cloud, or storage systems.
- Experience working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams in cross-functional settings.
- Ability to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and manage trade-offs in complex environments.
- Strong analytical skills combining qualitative insights, customer feedback, and quantitative data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executives and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Strong technical curiosity with the ability to understand complex systems and engineering constraints.
- Experience in customer-facing product discovery and validation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
