This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Total Rewards Specialist based in India.
This is an opportunity to support a global Total Rewards function across benefits, compensation, compliance, and employee experience.
You will help administer benefits programs spanning APAC, EMEA, and the Americas while contributing to foundational compensation analysis.
The role combines hands-on administration with data analysis, reporting, auditing, and process improvement.
You will work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, external vendors, and employees across multiple regions.
Accuracy, confidentiality, and strong data management will be essential when handling sensitive employee information and financial records.
The position is well suited to an analytical HR professional looking to deepen their expertise in global compensation and benefits.
You’ll also gain exposure to annual reward cycles, international programs, system improvements, and broader Total Rewards projects.
- Coordinate end-to-end benefits administration, including enrollments, employee status changes, onboarding documentation, leave-related administration, terminations, and insurance continuation processes across US and international platforms.
- Support annual benefits enrollment and renewal programs by preparing multi-country census data, resolving system issues, assisting with configurations, and coordinating insurance carrier documentation.
- Respond to employee benefits questions, help resolve carrier access issues, and coordinate claims escalations with brokers and relevant vendors.
- Conduct compensation analysis covering market benchmarking, salary range comparisons, pay equity checks, and other foundational compensation activities.
- Support annual merit, bonus, and equity cycles through data preparation, validation, system loading, and related administrative activities.
- Assist with job leveling, job architecture maintenance, compensation structures, salary bands, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare billing schedules, process and validate premium invoices, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with Payroll and insurance carriers to resolve issues.
- Calculate benefits premium adjustments and coordinate monthly employee deductions and employer contributions with regional Payroll teams.
- Perform benefits and compensation data audits across HRIS and vendor systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for HR, Finance, and leadership, including compensation and benefits data analysis.
- Support compliance activities, including benefits reporting, pay transparency requirements, retirement and savings plan updates, and other applicable regional obligations.
- Maintain Total Rewards documentation, process guides, FAQs, employee resources, and internal knowledge-management materials.
- Help create and localize employee communications, support benefits webinars, and contribute to wellness initiatives and international holiday-calendar updates.
- Contribute to special projects such as HR system implementations, benefits program redesigns, vendor evaluations, and other evolving Total Rewards priorities.
- 1–2 years of experience in compensation, benefits, Total Rewards, or a related HR function.
- Working knowledge of compensation fundamentals, including base pay, bonuses, market pricing, salary structures, and pay equity concepts.
- Exposure to benefits administration or the ability and willingness to quickly learn varied global benefits and statutory frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, sorting, filtering, data manipulation, and reconciliation.
- Experience or exposure to modern HRIS platforms; ADP experience is preferred.
- Strong data-validation, reporting, auditing, and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to numerical accuracy.
- Experience maintaining organized documentation and working with digital document-management or signature platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with employees, HR teams, vendors, and international stakeholders.
- Strong discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive personally identifiable information and protected health information.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a global environment.
- Willingness to work evening calls approximately 2–3 days per week to collaborate with team members based in the US and Mexico.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration and follow-through.
- Fully remote position for candidates located and authorized to work in India.
