This is a senior individual-contributor role responsible for shaping company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
You’ll own the corporate financial model and help translate complex financial and operational data into clear strategic insights.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, you’ll influence resource allocation and high-impact business decisions.
The role combines advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, executive reporting, and hands-on analysis in a fast-growing environment.
You’ll have significant autonomy to challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and improve FP&A processes and systems.
Your work will directly support leadership planning, quarterly business reviews, and Board-level decision-making.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced FP&A professional who enjoys solving ambiguous problems and turning numbers into actionable business strategy.

Accountabilities
  • Own, maintain, and continuously scale the corporate financial model and integrated three-statement P&L framework.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting processes across COGS and operating expense lines.
  • Develop advanced scenario-planning and financial models to assess strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and potential business outcomes.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance in depth, investigating variances and identifying underlying business risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex financial findings into clear recommendations that support enterprise-level decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Prepare high-visibility financial reporting packages and presentations for executive leadership, quarterly business reviews, and Board meetings.
  • Partner closely with Accounting and business-unit leaders to improve financial planning, modeling, and decision-making processes.
  • Challenge assumptions and bring a data-driven perspective to strategic and operational discussions.
  • Drive continuous improvement across FP&A tools, methodologies, processes, and system infrastructure.
  • Navigate ERP and enterprise planning environments to improve the quality, consistency, and scalability of financial information.
  • Independently lead complex planning initiatives while maintaining a high standard of financial accuracy and accountability.
  • Operate as a strategic finance partner across the organization, balancing detailed analysis with executive-level storytelling.
Requirements
  • 8–12+ years of progressive FP&A or Corporate Finance experience, with demonstrated ownership of company-wide financial processes.
  • Extensive experience with full P&L management, corporate planning, forecasting, and advanced financial modeling.
  • Strong understanding of integrated three-statement financial models and corporate financial planning methodologies.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and influence decisions across multiple functions and levels of an organization.
  • Experience advising senior leadership and translating financial performance into clear business recommendations.
  • Deep proficiency with ERP and enterprise planning ecosystems, particularly NetSuite and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex or ambiguous datasets and identify the operational drivers behind financial results.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, including the ability to move seamlessly between detailed financial analysis and high-level narrative storytelling.
  • A highly autonomous ownership mindset and an uncompromising commitment to financial accuracy.
  • Natural curiosity and the ability to investigate the “why” behind financial variances, trends, and business performance.
  • Experience creating executive- and Board-level financial reporting materials is a plus.
  • Background in high-growth SaaS, renewable energy, field services, or similarly dynamic industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with performance-based revenue models or guarantee liabilities is advantageous.
  • Ability to work Pacific Time and, for candidates in the San Francisco area, work from the Peninsula approximately 2–3 days per week.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

  • $109,600–$150,700 annual salary.
  • Competitive total compensation package including potential bonuses and long-term stock options.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, including family coverage options.

  • 401(k) plan with a $1,000 annual employer match.
  • Thoughtful paid time off.
  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents after one year of employment.
  • Four-week paid sabbatical after four years of employment.
  • Mission-driven, collaborative, and trust-based work environment.
  • Employee affinity groups and initiatives supporting inclusion, belonging, wellness, and community.
  • Mentorship, coaching, and opportunities for career development and internal advancement.
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing environment with significant autonomy and exposure to strategic business challenges.
  • Remote work within the United States, with the role operating on Pacific Time.
