Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

We are a small high complexity laboratory seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory procedures. This role is essential in supporting patient care through precise laboratory diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform urine toxicology IA and serum chemistry testing
• Review, verify, and release patient results with a high level of accuracy
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and process specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care.
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs to uphold laboratory standards.
• Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and procedure

Schedule:

• Full Time
• 32-40 hours

Skills and Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in biology, chemistry, or laboratory science
• ASCP (or equivalent) Certified or eligible
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience working with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and laboratory regulations
