Your Mission:
Skilled structural steel fabricator with experience operating burn tables, processing and cutting plate steel, moving materials with hoists and overhead cranes, and verifying finished products meet specifications. Demonstrates strong shop math, measurement, safety, and quality control skills while working independently with minimal supervision.

- Set up and operate burn tables
- Process and cut plate steel
- Fabricate heavy structural steel components
- Cut steel in various sizes and shapes
- Operate hoists and overhead cranes to move materials
- Verify finished products meet specifications
- Use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures
- Apply basic shop math skills
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Work with minimal supervision
- All other related duties as assigned
Mission Readiness:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- May require industry-related certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel fabrication or related field preferred
- Skilled in heavy structural steel fabrication
- Ability to set up and operate burn tables efficiently
- Proficient in processing and cutting plate steel
- Ability to read and follow specifications and measurements
- Experience operating hoists and overhead cranes
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic shop math and measurement skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of shop safety procedures and fabrication standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Travel Requirements:
- Between facilities as needed
Physical Requirements:
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
- May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
