Senior Software Engineer .NET / Angular

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – .NET / Angular based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve enterprise SaaS solutions while working with modern engineering practices and international teams.

Accountabilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise SaaS applications. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help drive engineering excellence through modern development practices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using the .NET ecosystem and Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Build backend services using C# or VB.NET while creating reliable and efficient web application features.
  • Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to improve application performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term technical improvements.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution design activities.
  • Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code following engineering best practices.
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests to support a shift-left development approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements across engineering processes, application performance, and system maintainability.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced full-stack engineer with strong .NET expertise and a passion for building reliable, high-quality software. You should have experience working with enterprise applications, modern engineering practices, and collaborative Agile environments.

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with C# or VB.NET development.
  • Solid experience building modern web applications.
  • Strong SQL knowledge, including relational databases, stored procedures, and query optimisation.
  • Experience troubleshooting application performance issues and improving system efficiency.
  • Experience developing unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with shift-left development practices and quality-focused engineering workflows.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and application design principles.
  • Experience collaborating within Agile engineering teams.
  • Willingness to adopt AI-powered development tools and modern engineering workflows.
  • Basic understanding of LLMs, MCP, RAG, and emerging AI development concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server optimisation, AWS services, GraphQL, jQuery, WebForms, HTML/CSS, or AI-assisted coding workflows is considered a plus.
