JOB SUMMARY
Leads and directs all aspects of the Women’s Health service line across inter/intra-departmental lines, demonstrating a passion to work, a commitment to the mission, vision, values and behaviors of the organization, and utilizes the Studer Group's Nine Principles for the department operations for OB/GYN, Pediatrics, OB Hospitalist. This includes:
- program development, strategic planning, implementation of strategic plans, goal development, budget development and management, quality management, customer satisfaction (patient, employee, and physician), process improvement, staff/leadership development, capital asset acquisition and management, and service agreements supporting these services and the organizational goals of Blessing Health System. Ensures appropriate processes, quality measures, education, and collaboration within and outside the organization is maintained to strive for continual performance excellence. Chairs and co-chairs meetings associated with the service line.
This role will work in close collaboration with the Women’s Health Physician Dyad partner to set strategic goals and work together on continuous quality and process improvement.
Effective two-way communication and problem solving and unit, service line, and organizational level.
Uses data to continually and effectively drive decisions and essential changes to promote high quality care, workflows, and outcomes.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services, ICARE standards, adherence to the Code of Conduct, organization policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Administration and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- BSN Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years related nursing experience Minimum 3 years progressive nurse leadership experience
PREFERRED:
- Master’s degree in related field.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
- Possesses current state RN license.
- Maintain current BLS
