Job Description

Description:

Position Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor (Contractor) partners with the Clinical Director to provide high-quality clinical supervision for clinicians pursuing independent licensure in Washington State. Through mentorship, consultation, and supervision, this role contributes to the department's culture of clinical excellence by investing in the development of individual clinicians.

Our Clinical Philosophy:

At Key Works, we believe recovery is whole-person transformation achieved through experiences that are both safe and challenging. Clients deserve clinicians who can balance compassion with courage, offering support while thoughtfully interrupting the patterns that have prevented change. We believe exceptional supervision develops more than clinical skills—it develops the clinical mind by teaching not only what to do, but why.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Clinical Supervision
  • Provide individual clinical supervision toward Washington State licensure.
  • Assist clinicians with case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethics, and clinical reasoning.
  • Document supervision consistent with Washington State requirements.
  • Verify supervision hours and maintain required records.
  • Mentorship & Consultation
  • Facilitate a bi-weekly clinician process group.
  • Provide consultation on clinical cases during supervision.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director regarding supervisee development.
  • Contribute to the department's culture of clinical excellence through high-quality supervision and mentorship.

Who Will Thrive in This Role:

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing clinicians, values thoughtful supervision, balances warmth with accountability, demonstrates intellectual curiosity, and believes professional growth occurs through both support and challenge.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active, unrestricted Washington State clinical license (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Qualified to supervise associates toward independent licensure in Washington State.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, ethics, and evidence-based practice.

Compensation and Time Commitment:

  • Contract position. Anticipated compensation approximately $140/hour (negotiable). Estimated commitment approximately 10 hours per week depending on supervision needs.
