At Old Scratch Pizza, our Line Cooks play a critical role in delivering the quality and consistency our guests expect. At our Centerville location, you will work the pizza line, stretch dough, build pies, and cook in our wood-fired ovens while maintaining high standards for food safety, organization, and teamwork.

Flexible Scheduling
Afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available. Restaurants close at 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and 10 pm Friday and Saturday.

Competitive WEEKLY Pay
$15 to $18 per hour (wages plus tip share).

Focused Kitchen Environment
No fryers or grills. Our kitchens center on Neapolitan wood-fired pizza and high-quality ingredients.

Closed on Major Holidays
Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day

As a Line Cook at the Centerville location, you are responsible for executing the pizza line with accuracy, urgency, and consistency. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong work habits, and the ability to perform well during high-volume service.

• Prepare and organize ingredients for daily service

• Set up, maintain, and break down the pizza line

• Stretch dough and build Neapolitan-style pizzas to company specifications

• Cook pizzas in wood-fired ovens according to standards

• Maintain food quality, portioning, and presentation standards

• Work efficiently during high-volume periods

• Keep your station clean, organized, and food-safe

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures

• Support teammates and contribute to a positive kitchen culture

Experience is helpful but not required. We are most successful with team members who demonstrate:

This position works in a commercial kitchen environment and includes:

• Exposure to high temperatures from wood-fired ovens and cold conditions in walk-ins

• Frequent contact with water, cleaning solutions, produce, dairy, and common allergens

• Extended standing and walking

• Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds

• Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motion

• Use of kitchen equipment requiring manual dexterity

• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain awareness of surroundings for safety
