ASSISTANT MANAGER in Kailua, Hawaii at Tamura Enterprises

Assists the Store Manager with daily store operations, employee supervision, customer service, inventory, cash handling, scheduling, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer concerns.

• Supervise employees in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service tasks.

• Train, coach, evaluate, and document employee performance as needed.

• Support sales, merchandising, pricing, display, and inventory control.

• Enforce safety, security, health, and sanitation standards.

• Oversee cash handling and cashier procedures.

• Communicate with managers and employees to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist with weekly scheduling and other management duties as assigned.

• At least 18 years of age.

• Some college preferred or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 5 years of retail, supermarket, or liquor industry experience.

• Prior management experience required.

• Strong customer service, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
