Description:

The Shipping Dock Worker is responsible for accurately pulling, preparing, staging, and loading recreational vehicle (RV) orders for shipment while ensuring all products are handled safely and efficiently. This position also supports receiving operations, inventory movement, and general material handling activities to maintain an organized and productive warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced shipping and warehouse setting.

Hours: 4 Day Workweek! Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 pm - 5:30 am

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shipping & Order Fulfillment
  • Pull RV orders according to pick lists, work orders, and shipping schedules.
  • Verify order accuracy, quantities, and product specifications prior to shipment.
  • Prepare, package, label, and stage materials for shipping.
  • Load outgoing shipments safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment and procedures.
  • Secure loads to prevent damage during transit.
  • Complete shipping documentation and maintain accurate shipment records.
  • Coordinate with shipping, warehouse, and production teams to meet delivery schedules.
Receiving & Material Handling
  • Receive incoming materials, supplies, and products.
  • Unload trucks and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify received quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Move materials to designated storage, production, or staging locations.
  • Assist with inventory transactions and inventory counts.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and proper material flow throughout the facility.
Warehouse Operations
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Keep docks, aisles, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision.
  • Assist with other warehouse, shipping, and receiving duties as assigned.
  • All other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience a plus.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication abilities

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Able to work in a hot humid environment for extended periods of time as well as around loud noises are required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to remain stationary with intermediate walking through out shift. Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance and must be able to transport these up to 20 feet. Frequently positions self to maneuver around the part when finishing. Must be able to operate the hand and air tools frequently. Must be able to work overhead using hand and air tools, lift and carry parts and dump powder boxes.
