Job Summary

The Training Specialist supports the management of a program(s) in the field; supports the development of project work products, to include but not limited to, program timelines, budgets, reports, and other products/documents as Identified.

The Training Specialist supports end-to-end PD delivery for early-grade teachers (KG–G3) and supervisors. The role assists with curriculum/materials preparation, session facilitation, coaching logistics, participant communications, and routine data/quality tasks to ensure consistent implementation aligned to MoE standards for early grades.

What You’ll Do

  • Professional Development Delivery: Support and facilitate training for KG–G3 teachers, supervisors, and Master Teachers, ensuring alignment with Ministry of Education standards.
  • Training Content and Materials: Adapt blended professional development content and develop Arabic-first, accessible guides, presentations, job aids, and checklists for literacy and numeracy programs.
  • Training Coordination: Prepare training schedules, coordinate participant communications and logistics with MoE directorates, schools, partners, and vendors, and maintain accurate attendance and distribution records.
  • Digital Learning and Data Management: Upload and manage content on learning platforms, administer assessments and feedback tools, validate participant data, and support routine dashboards and quality reports.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Apply observation and quality-assurance tools, support calibration and rapid-learning activities, and follow up on corrective actions to strengthen program implementation.
  • Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure training activities comply with data protection, safeguarding, visibility, financial, and incident-reporting requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical, operations, MEL, and partner teams to deliver project outputs effectively. This is an individual-contributor role and does not supervise employees or interns.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting teacher professional development or school-based training; early-grade experience preferred.
  • Strong facilitation skills and knowledge of adult learning, inclusive/UDL design, literacy, and numeracy.
  • Experience developing accessible training materials, facilitating ToT and CoP sessions, and supporting coaching and feedback cycles.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Canva; familiarity with LMS and digital data-collection tools is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, data-quality, and stakeholder-management skills; experience working with Jordan’s Ministry of Education preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly and collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting teacher professional development or school-based training; early-grade experience preferred.
  • You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Jordan.
