This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Automotive Warranty Adjuster based in Canada.
This remote role is responsible for evaluating automotive warranty claims and ensuring repairs are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual coverage.
You will assess vehicle damage, review warranty terms, validate claims, and determine appropriate repair procedures and pricing.
The position combines automotive technical expertise with negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service.
You will work closely with dealerships, repair facilities, service teams, and customers to resolve claims and support positive outcomes.
Strong communication in both English and French is essential for serving a diverse client and partner network.
The role offers an opportunity to apply hands-on automotive knowledge in a professional claims environment while contributing directly to service quality and operational performance.
Review warranty contracts, previous claims, and related documentation to determine coverage and claim validity.
Assess automotive body, mechanical, and related damage to establish appropriate repair procedures and pricing.
Communicate with repair facilities to understand reported failures, diagnostic procedures, required repairs, and applicable labour and parts costs.
Determine the most appropriate repair approach based on warranty coverage, pricing, vehicle condition, and remaining warranty terms.
Negotiate labour and parts pricing with repair facilities and authorize eligible repairs in accordance with individual warranty contracts.
Determine when an independent inspection is required and coordinate the appropriate next steps.
Review total-loss claims and confirm eligibility when applicable.
Support dealerships and service personnel in resolving outstanding or unsettled claims.
Communicate claim decisions clearly, accurately, and promptly to customers, claimants, dealers, and internal teams.
Maintain productivity and service-level objectives, including response times, average handling time, and adherence to established service standards.
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service during every interaction.
Participate actively in coaching, team-development activities, and continuous-improvement initiatives by sharing feedback and expertise.
Minimum of 5 years of automotive body repair experience is preferred.
Fluent bilingual communication in English and French is required.
An Auto Body Technician Certificate or Estimator qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, vehicle body structures, and light-duty trucks.
Ability to evaluate technical information, identify problems, gather relevant facts, and reach sound conclusions.
Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures, labour requirements, parts pricing, and estimating practices.
Experience with Audatex or Mitchell estimating systems is considered an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and coverage-related decisions clearly.
Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality and continuous improvement.
Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to interpret detailed technical instructions and apply warranty requirements accurately.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple claims while meeting productivity and service expectations.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while collaborating with dealerships, repair facilities, customers, and internal teams.
