About the Role:

The Leasing Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the leasing operations within a real estate portfolio, ensuring optimal occupancy and tenant satisfaction. The Leasing Manager will utilize property management software, such as Yardi Systems, to streamline leasing processes and maintain accurate records. Collaborating closely with property management and real estate development teams, the role supports strategic growth and operational efficiency. Ultimately, the Leasing Manager drives revenue generation through effective lease negotiations and tenant relations while safeguarding the legal and financial interests of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing management or property management within the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in Yardi Systems or similar property management software.
• Strong knowledge of lease agreements, lease administration, and Fair Housing regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in real estate development or working closely with development teams.
• Certification in property management such as CPM (Certified Property Manager) or ARM (Accredited Residential Manager).
• Advanced knowledge of legal documents related to real estate leasing.
• Demonstrated success in managing large or multi-site property portfolios.
• Familiarity with additional property management software platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full leasing cycle including marketing available properties, screening prospective tenants, and executing lease agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and other applicable legal requirements in all leasing activities.
• Utilize Yardi Systems to maintain accurate lease records, track lease expirations, and generate reports for management.
• Collaborate with property management and real estate development teams to support occupancy goals and property enhancements.
• Effectively present leasing information and property details to prospective tenants and stakeholders.
• Oversee lease administration tasks including renewals, amendments, and terminations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Address tenant inquiries and resolve leasing-related issues to maintain positive tenant relationships.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to recommend adjustments in leasing strategies.
