- Design, develop, and iterate on MVPs, prototypes, and early-stage software solutions to explore new product opportunities and validate concepts.
- Translate complex and evolving business needs into practical technical solutions through experimentation, user feedback, and continuous improvement.
- Build and deploy cloud-based solutions primarily using AWS services, supporting rapid development and scalable product innovation.
- Develop high-quality software using modern technologies including C# (.NET 8), React, and SQL.
- Experiment with AI-driven approaches to accelerate development processes and support the creation of new product capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify valuable opportunities, gather feedback, test assumptions, and refine solutions.
- Balance speed and engineering quality by applying appropriate development practices for early-stage product environments.
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions that support future scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support deployment and real-world testing of prototypes and emerging solutions.
- Mentor engineers by sharing technical knowledge, promoting effective collaboration, and encouraging strong problem-solving practices.
- Drive a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement by applying insights from successful and unsuccessful initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to influence technical direction and help shape future product strategies.
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# (.NET 8), React, and SQL.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering software solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong cloud development experience, preferably with AWS and cloud-native services.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum practices.
- Excellent technical design, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where experimentation and iteration are essential.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
- Experience translating business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others, influence technical decisions, and support team growth.
- Curiosity and passion for emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning applications in software development.
- Experience with SaaS environments, HIPAA and/or PCI-regulated environments, or healthcare technology is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern architectures such as microservices, event-driven systems, domain-driven design, and test-driven development is a plus.
- Experience with healthcare data, interoperability standards such as FHIR or HL7, clinical informatics, medical claims, or electronic health record data is highly valued.
- AWS certifications or deep expertise with AWS cloud services are preferred.
- Competitive salary range from $117,500 to $222,985, depending on location, experience, qualifications, and skills.
- Higher salary range available for candidates located in specific high-cost regions, including California, New York City, Washington D.C., and other designated areas.
