This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager – AI in the United States.

This role sits at the core of an AI Platform organization responsible for building the foundational systems that enable scalable machine learning and generative AI across healthcare products and internal tools. You will define and drive the roadmap for AI infrastructure that powers model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management across large-scale clinical and operational datasets. The position requires deep collaboration with AI engineers, data scientists, and clinical stakeholders to translate complex healthcare and technical requirements into production-ready systems. You will influence how AI capabilities are integrated across products that directly impact patient outcomes and care quality at scale. This is a highly strategic and technical product leadership role focused on building reliable, extensible, and high-performance AI platforms. You will operate in a mission-driven environment where innovation in AI directly contributes to improving healthcare delivery for millions of patients.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI Platform, supporting both internal teams and external AI-powered products.
  • Own the full lifecycle of ML and LLM platform capabilities, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
  • Partner with engineering, data science, and clinical teams to translate complex requirements into clear product direction and measurable outcomes.
  • Write detailed user stories and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives, system design, and success metrics.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of scalable AI infrastructure, balancing innovation, performance, reliability, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to transition prototypes into production-ready systems with strong validation and performance standards.
  • Use data, experimentation, and user feedback to continuously improve model performance and platform capabilities.
  • Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that align platform scalability with evolving AI and healthcare needs.
  • Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of product management experience in SaaS, technology, or technology-enabled services, with strong exposure to technical or platform products.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML systems, including model development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with ML platforms, MLOps practices, and scalable AI infrastructure (cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Strong technical fluency in APIs, data engineering, DevOps, and enterprise software architecture.
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear technical roadmaps and executable plans.
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Jira and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working with LLMs, generative AI, or advanced AI systems is strongly preferred.
  • Background in healthcare technology, clinical data, or population health datasets is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in data science or backend engineering roles is an advantage.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior technical leadership roles.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with strong employer contributions.
  • Remote-first flexibility with strong work-life balance support.
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and long-term sabbatical opportunities.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching and additional equity opportunities.
  • Professional development support and educational assistance programs.
  • Opportunity to build AI systems that directly improve healthcare quality and patient outcomes.
  • Inclusive, mission-driven culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and impact at scale.
