Job Summary
The function of the Torque & Test Supervisor is to monitor all accessory torque work and pressure testing to ensure that all applicable Benoit, API, Customer, and safety/environmental requirements are adhered to. The Supervisor-Torque &and Test reports to and receives his authority from the Manager-Accessory Manufacturing and has authority over Torque & Test personnel.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the movement of all work through the torque & test area, in a timely manner.Train, monitor and direct the performance of personnel under his authority to ensure Benoit policies and SOPs are adhered to.Ensure that documentation for work is complete and accurate.Monitor and maintain torque and pressure test equipment and report any equipment problems to the Accessories Manager.Ensure that personnel under his authority adhere to Benoit safety and environmental policies.Maintain a safe and environmentally clean work area.Coordinate & work with customer & 3rd party representatives on Torque & Test jobs.Monitor forklift operation by personnel.Conduct or delegate another member of the department to conduct a "Job Safety Analysis" (JSA) in accordance with Benoit JSA policy.

Qualification requirements may include, but are not limited to:
- 3+years tong/CTM experience requiredStrong attention to detail and spatial awareness requiredKnowledge of downhole tools requiredAbility to lead and manage subordinates effectively requiredProfessional verbal and written communication skills requiredAbility to read assembly drawings preferredKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services preferred. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfactionStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment preferredProvide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person preferredMust be located within commutable distance of Houma, LA
