Director / Senior Director of Talent Acquisition

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director / Senior Director of Talent Acquisition in the United States.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape and scale a global talent acquisition function within a fast-growing, data-driven organization. You will own the evolution of recruiting strategy, transforming a strong operational team into a fully scalable, metrics-driven, and tech-enabled hiring engine. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring close partnership with executive stakeholders on workforce planning, organizational design, and critical senior hires. You will build and optimize sourcing capabilities, implement modern recruiting technologies, and drive data-informed decision-making across the hiring lifecycle. Operating in a high-velocity environment, you will ensure recruiting excellence across technical, GTM, and corporate functions. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, moves seamlessly between strategy and execution, and is passionate about building high-performance teams and systems at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global Talent Acquisition team, ensuring strong execution, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Design and implement the future-state recruiting organization, including structure, capacity planning, sourcing strategy, and operating model.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on workforce planning, hiring priorities, and strategic talent initiatives across all business functions.
  • Own executive and senior-level hiring processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes for critical leadership roles.
  • Build and scale a proactive sourcing and talent pipeline function, including market mapping and outbound recruiting strategies.
  • Establish recruiting metrics, dashboards, and performance frameworks to drive operational rigor and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee ATS strategy and optimization (Greenhouse or similar), ensuring strong data integrity and efficient workflows.
  • Evaluate and implement recruiting technologies, including AI-driven tools, to improve efficiency and hiring quality.
  • Drive end-to-end recruiting operational excellence across technical, sales, finance, and corporate hiring.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and business leaders to support scalable organizational growth.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 3+ years in a leadership or people management role.
  • Proven experience leading recruiting teams in high-growth, startup, or fast-scaling environments.
  • Strong track record of hiring across technical, GTM (sales/marketing), and corporate functions, including executive-level roles.
  • Experience building or significantly scaling internal sourcing functions and outbound recruiting strategies.
  • Deep familiarity with ATS platforms such as Greenhouse and recruiting operations tooling.
  • Strong expertise in workforce planning, headcount modeling, and hiring strategy development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build structured, data-driven recruiting systems and performance metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align senior leadership.
  • Strong operational mindset combined with strategic thinking and hands-on execution ability.
  • High adaptability, resilience, and ability to lead effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary and performance-based OTE ($210K–$270K depending on level and experience)
  • Equity participation in a high-growth organization
  • Fully remote work flexibility within the United States
  • Flexible working hours and generous PTO policy
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
  • Paid parental leave and family-support benefits
  • Annual learning and development stipend
  • Wellness support programs and mental health resources
  • Work-from-home stipend and additional lifestyle benefits
  • Inclusive, high-performance culture focused on ownership, growth, and impact.
