We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans asestablishedby the Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion
- Assistwith mobility, gait, balance, and fall-prevention training
- Perform transfer training (bed, chair, standing, and walking)
- Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, and electrical stimulation
- Monitor patient tolerance and response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Accurately document therapy sessions and patient progressin accordance withclinical standards
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Qualifications
- Licensure:Associate degreefromaccreditedPTA program
- Certifications:BLS (AHA)
- Immunizations: Based on client need
- Experience required: Based on client need
- Schedule: Based on client needs

Work Environment
Physical demands: | The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, hear and perform repetitive motions. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with clients, vendors and staff. Overnight travel may be required from time to time. |
Mental demands: | There are a number of deadlines associated with this position. The employee must be able to handle frequent interruptions and must also multi-task and interact with a wide variety of people on various and, at times, complicated issues. |
