Event Banquet Server in Hamburg, New Jersey at CS RESORT MANAGER

Crystal Springs is seeking enthusiastic Banquet Servers to join one of North Jersey’s highest-rated wedding and event destinations. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy hospitality team delivering exceptional guest experiences at luxury events.

Responsibilities of the Banquet Server position consist of, but are not limited to:

• Assist the Banquet Manager in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the Supervisor, including linen, service ware, and glassware
• Serve food and/or beverages in the order and standards directed by the Supervisor to ensure consistency throughout the event
• Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and at the end of the meal or function
• Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction
• Reset banquet rooms after events according to Supervisor specifications to ensure readiness for the next function
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements of Banquet Server:

• Previous banquet experience preferred
• Must be a team player
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware is a plus
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote menu items
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate in English with guests in a professional and courteous manner
