Job Description

Legal Operations Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Legal Operations Manager in Ireland.

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of legal operations in a fast-growing, product-led organization at an early stage of its legal function. In this role, you will help build the systems, processes, and workflows that enable the business to scale efficiently while managing legal and contractual risk. You will work closely with go-to-market, operations, security, and leadership teams to streamline contract review and ensure legal requests are handled consistently and effectively. Acting as a key operational partner, you will coordinate external counsel, support vendor and customer agreements, and translate legal complexity into practical business guidance. This is a hands-on, builder role where you will directly shape how legal operations function within the organization. It is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys creating structure from the ground up.

Accountabilities
  • Review and support the negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including NDAs, DPAs, SaaS contracts, vendor agreements, order forms, and security addendums.
  • Identify legal, commercial, and compliance risks within contract language and escalate complex or high-risk issues to external counsel when necessary.
  • Coordinate with external legal advisors and translate their recommendations into clear, actionable guidance for internal stakeholders.
  • Support go-to-market and business teams in maintaining efficient and consistent contract review processes aligned with internal policies.
  • Design, implement, and maintain legal operations workflows, including contract intake, tracking systems, approval processes, and documentation structures.
  • Organize and maintain legal repositories, ensuring contracts, templates, clauses, obligations, and approvals are easily accessible and well-structured.
  • Develop and continuously improve legal templates, fallback clauses, playbooks, and standardized contract language to streamline reviews.
  • Enhance legal operational tooling across platforms such as Google Drive, Notion, HubSpot, PandaDoc, and other business systems.
  • Support vendor due diligence and contract-related compliance requirements, including security and privacy documentation.
  • Educate internal teams on legal processes, helping ensure proper routing and handling of contract-related requests across the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, contract manager, legal counsel, or similar role within a SaaS, technology company, or law firm environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, and customer order forms.
  • Proven ability to review standard agreements and identify when escalation to legal counsel is required.
  • Experience working with external legal counsel and translating legal input into business-friendly guidance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to build and maintain structured legal processes, systems, and documentation from scratch.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Security, Business Operations, and Leadership teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and productivity platforms such as Notion, Google Workspace, and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of compliance and privacy frameworks such as GDPR, SOC 2, and vendor risk management is highly desirable.
  • Experience creating or improving legal playbooks, clause libraries, intake workflows, or approval systems is a strong plus.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary and equity participation.
  • Opportunity to build and own the legal operations function from the ground up.
  • High-impact role with direct visibility to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to fast-scaling SaaS business operations and commercial deal processes.
  • Flexible and remote-friendly working environment.
  • Opportunity to work closely with experienced leadership and external legal experts.
  • Career growth potential as the legal function expands.
  • Dynamic, high-ownership culture focused on speed, clarity, and execution.
  • Involvement in shaping foundational legal systems, tools, and processes for long-term scalability.
