Your Impact at Brevo:This is a high-impact role for an engineer who goes beyond simply implementing requirements. You will identify problems, understand customer needs, shape solutions, and own outcomes end-to-end from technical design and implementation to rollout and iteration.
While this is a full-stack position, the primary focus will be on building and evolving our high-throughput Go microservices ecosystem, powering millions of critical daily interactions, while contributing to intuitive React experiences where needed.
We are looking for someone who thinks like a builder and acts like an owner, proactively identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, making pragmatic decisions, and partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn ambiguous problems into simple, scalable solutions.
- Own complex product initiatives end-to-end, from understanding the problem and shaping the solution to building, launching, and iterating on it across Go backend services and React interfaces.
- Drive technical and product decisions for scalable, reliable systems, proactively identifying bottlenecks, simplifying complexity, and solving problems before they become blockers.
- Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design, code reviews, pragmatic technical decisions, and continuous reduction of technical debt.
- Act as a technical multiplier for the team, sharing context, mentoring engineers, and helping others make better technical and product decisions.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and other engineers to turn ambiguous customer and business problems into simple, scalable solutions that deliver measurable impact.
- Embrace AI as a product-building tool, with hands-on exposure to AI/LLM capabilities and a curiosity to explore how AI can improve developer productivity, product experiences, and customer outcomes.
- 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering high-impact, production-grade applications at scale, with strong hands-on proficiency in Go (Golang) and deep expertise in microservices, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Agentic AI tools such as AI coding agents, autonomous developer assistants, and LLM toolchains, using them as force multipliers in the daily engineering workflow.
- Strong frontend development experience with React.js and JavaScript, building modern, responsive applications and delivering seamless full-stack user experiences.
- Hands-on experience with high-volume technologies, including MongoDB, MySQL, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and Redis, with a practical understanding of databases, messaging, and caching strategies.
- Strong technical fundamentals across algorithms, full-stack system design patterns, and debugging complex production environments using tools such as Datadog, Kibana, or New Relic.
- Self-driven and autonomous approach, with strong problem-solving skills, proactive ownership of complex technical challenges, and the ability to inspire engineering excellence within the team.
- High-impact mindset with a relentless drive to push technical boundaries and pioneer Agentic Engineering paradigms
- A place to grow, together: Join a diverse, international team across our Paris and Noida offices buzzing with energy, ideas, and people who genuinely care about the work they do.

- Wellbeing that works: Comprehensive health insurance, enhanced parental leave, childcare support, and wellness initiatives to keep you and your family covered wherever you're based.
- A culture that cares: Annual company off-sites, inter-office trips to connect with global teammates, team outings, and active Social, Green, and LGBTQIA+ communities making Brevo a vibrant and inclusive place to belong.
