Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant in Decatur, Georgia at Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners

Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical team in daily operations; assist chairside as needed
• Oversee and train dental assistants (new and existing)
• Ensure consistent high-quality chairside assistance, impressions, four-handed dentistry, treatment planning support
• Strong capability with X-rays, understanding of insurance (including what’s covered in GA, especially Medicaid)
• Be the first to arrive/last to leave when required — ownership of clinic flow
• Coordinate sterilization, instrument readiness, inventory and supplies
• Work closely with doctors and frontoffice staff to support patient care and scheduling

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish & English) required
• Several years of dental assisting experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
• X-ray certification required
• Coronal Polishing Certification required (Georgia requirement for polishing duties) gdha+1
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, team-oriented
• Familiar with impressions, retainers, treatment planning, insurance nuances in Georgia
• Dependable, energetic, and ready to lead

Schedule:
Full-time, across two of our locations. Some flexibility required for arriving early or staying later when needed.
