Job Description

River Rock Casino Resort is now hiring Dealer Supervisor Level 2 (Poker).

The successful team member would be responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of table games operations on an assigned area basis while establishing and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.

Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and assists in providing a learning environment. Provides input on performance evaluations.


Key Accountabilities

  • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and employees
  • Providing exceptional service to our guests and team members
  • Monitoring Dealers in an assigned area; maintains game integrity; monitors game limits and cash/value transactions; may assign shift work assignments in an assigned area
  • Providing input for employee performance objectives and evaluations
  • Participating in the implementation of table strategic games plans
  • Performing buy-in/cash-out transactions via Cage applications
  • Verifying cash/value transactions pertaining to floats, fills, credits and tips
  • Responding to, resolving or escalating issues
  • Reporting irregularities and suspicious activities
  • Assisting in allotting player seating and waiting lists
  • Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Ensuring everyone feels like they are an integral part of the VIBE atmosphere
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed
  • Maintaining table security

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, post-secondary education an asset
  • Strong communication and mathematical skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in gaming
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Poker
  • Proven ability to lead by example
  • Must have a good working knowledge of all card games.
  • Computer Literacy in MS
  • Adhere to the high standards, methods and procedures of gaming
  • Proven guest service skills with strong ability to follow policies, procedures and practices
  • Good manual dexterity and able to stand for long period of time
  • Have access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible with work schedule
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right License


Work Environment Considerations: This role requires standing for extended periods and supporting the operation during non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays—as part of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high energy, premium dining environment.
