Job Description

Product Manager, Agentic Reporting

Product Manager - Agentic Reporting

Ready to build whats next with one of the worlds most iconic brands?

Why Join Subway?

At Subway, we are not standing still. We are building.

This is a business focused on what matters most: growing franchisee profitability, strengthening our brand and creating long-term value. The people who thrive here are the ones who want to make a real impact.

You will not just do the work. You will shape it.

We move fast. We think like owners. We make decisions that matter. We hold ourselves to a high standard because what we do directly impacts thousands of franchisees around the world.

If you bring energy, accountability and a bias for action, you will fit right in.

We take the work seriously, but we also know the best results come from teams that support each other, celebrate wins and show up ready to build something better every day.

This is your chance to be part of whats next.

About the Role:

The Product Manager Agentic Reporting builds the insights and reporting tools that help Subway operators understand their business and make better decisions, putting the right data in front of the right people at the right time. Increasingly that means agents, not dashboards: systems that answer a franchisee's question directly instead of handing them a filter panel.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend real time in SQL, in AI tooling, and in prototypes you build yourself. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, leads with conviction, and gets energy from solving hard problems at scale.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Own the roadmap and execution for reporting and agentic products. Define what gets built, why it matters, and how it scales.
  • Build, don't just specify. You'll prototype with AI coding tools, query the warehouse directly, and put a working version in front of a user before the requirements doc exists.
  • Drive high-velocity execution alongside our engineering team, balancing strong product instincts with data-driven decision making.
  • Build deep user empathy. Spend time with franchisees to understand real problems before reaching for solutions.
  • Know the data well enough to defend the number. When a metric looks wrong, you trace it to the source table yourself rather than filing a ticket and waiting.
  • Use metrics to inform your point of view, run experiments to validate it, and measure what moves the needle.

Qualifications (some examples listed below):

  • 4+ years building data or reporting products, as a PM, analytics engineer, data scientist, or analyst who grew into product. We care more about what you've shipped than what your title was.
  • Strong SQL. You write window functions and CTEs without looking them up, and you can debug someone else's 200-line query to find where the number went wrong.
  • You've built something real with LLMs, an agent, a tool-calling app, an eval harness, an internal assistant. Tell us what you built, what broke, and what you learned. "I use AI daily" isn't this.
  • Demonstrated ownership: you treat problems as yours until they're solved.
  • Technical fluency: you earn engineering trust by engaging in the details, not just the requirements document.
  • Ability to write clearly and influence without authority. You build alignment through strong thinking, not org chart.
  • Tableau, or a comparable BI/semantic-layer tool, at a level where you can build and audit, not just read (nice to have).
  • Experience in restaurant technology / QSR / franchise environments (nice to have).

Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $102,700 - 128,400 annually

Pay within this range will be determined in good faith based on job-related factors, which may include skills, experience, education/training, location, and internal equity.
