PAY: $225/hr - $250/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW

Institutes of Health (IOH) is seeking a Neurologist to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team serving patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), neurological impairments, chronic headaches, and other neurological conditions related to work-related injuries and exposures.

This is a 100% outpatient, non-procedural role designed for physicians who value a collaborative, biopsychosocial approach to patient care and functional recovery.

The position is available on a part-time or independent contractor (IC) basis, with opportunities across multiple IOH locations.

THE ROLE
As a Neurologist with IOH, you will provide comprehensive neurological evaluations and specialty care while collaborating with PM&R, psychology, pain management, and rehabilitation professionals.

The focus is on understanding each patient's neurological condition within the broader clinical and functional context and developing recommendations that support recovery and return-to-work goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and assessments.
-Evaluate and manage TBI and other neurological conditions related to work-related injuries or exposures.
-Assess functional impact and provide appropriate treatment and rehabilitation recommendations.
-Develop individualized treatment recommendations within a multidisciplinary, biopsychosocial model of care.
-Collaborate with PM&R, psychology, pain management, and rehabilitation providers.
-Monitor patient progress and modify recommendations as clinically appropriate.
-Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation consistent with California Workers' Compensation requirements.

-Strong clinical communication and documentation skills.
