Position: High School Math MTSS Tutor (Alegbra, Algebra 2, Geomertry , and higher)
Employment Type: Part-time hourly
Pay Rate: $18-$30/ hour

Job Overview:

GPS Solutions is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Math MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Tutor/Paraprofessional to join our team. In this part-time role, you will work closely with 9- 12th grade students, teachers, and administrators to support the academic and behavioral needs of our students. Your efforts will be crucial in helping students achieve their full potential through targeted instruction and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic support to students in small group and one-on-one settings.Assist in the implementation of MTSS strategies to support students' learning needs.Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver individualized learning plans.Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators and administrators.Support classroom management and assist in maintaining a positive learning environment.Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Education Requirement (one of the following):

A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited university or college, orCollege Board’s SAT – Must score at least 480 on evidence-based reading and writing, and 530 on math, orETS Parapro Assessment – A passing score of 460 is required

Preferred:

Bachelor's of Science or Arts in EducationValid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education
