Giving Tree Pet Spa & Lodge is looking for a talented, customer-focused, and team-oriented Professional Dog Groomer to join our team.

We’ve worked hard to build a strong reputation in our community for high-quality grooming, exceptional customer service, and compassionate care. We’re fortunate to have wonderful, loyal customers who trust us with their pets, and we have a positive work culture built around teamwork, respect, growth, and supporting one another.

Exceptional Customer Service

Being a great groomer is about more than producing a beautiful haircut. Our groomers build relationships with pet parents and their pets. We’re looking for someone who communicates warmly and professionally, listens carefully to clients’ requests, manages expectations, and genuinely cares about providing an exceptional experience.

Strong Grooming Skills — or the Potential to Become Exceptional

We highly value exceptional grooming skills and attention to detail. However, if your grooming skills are still developing but you have a solid foundation, we are willing to train and invest in the right person. What matters tremendously to us is your attitude.

We’re looking for someone who is humble, open-minded, teachable, and eager to continue learning. Whether you’ve been grooming for 5 months or ten years, we believe there is always room to grow.

Responsibilities

* Perform professional bathing, brushing, drying, haircuts, nail care, and other grooming services

* Provide safe, patient, and compassionate handling of pets

* Consistently deliver high-quality grooming results

* Communicate professionally and warmly with pet parents

* Understand client expectations and make appropriate grooming recommendations

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming environment

* Work collaboratively with groomers, bathers, front desk staff, and management

* Follow established safety, pricing, quality, and customer-service standards

* Be receptive to feedback, coaching, and continued education

* Contribute positively to the culture and success of the entire team
