Job Description
Brick City Metals is seeking a general laborer to support the daily operations of our manufacturing facility doing a variety of manual tasks related to production support, material handling and facility upkeep. This role is essential in keeping the production floor running safely and efficiently.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:
· Load, unload, and move raw materials, parts, and finished goods using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts once certified
· Assist machine operators with feeding materials, staging products and clearing finished parts
· Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards
· Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE
· Operate basic hand and power tools as needed
· Accurately complete production logs, time records, and other required paperwork
· Assist with inventory counts and material stocking
· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
· High School Diploma or GED equivalent
· Prior experience manufacturing, warehouse or general labor role
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
· Basic math skills required for counting and measuring
· Forklift certification a plus
· Ability to lift 50lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally, stand walk, bend and climb ladders and stairs for entire shift
