Position Overview
Subway is building a best-in-class Procurement function, and this role is a key leader within it. The Director, Procurement will own sourcing strategy, execution, and delivery across approximately $450M in marketing spend, with a clear mandate to deliver value back to our franchise system by freeing up cash for reinvestment.
Reporting directly to the VP of Procurement, this hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves leader will elevate Subway's marketing sourcing capability, build supplier relationships and category strategies, and influence the business. Key relationships will include Finance, Legal, and senior business stakeholders across the enterprise, as well as peers in a new Procurement Center of Excellence.
This is a high-visibility role for a proven sourcing operator who can think strategically, execute and deliver quickly, and build credibility fast in an environment where procurement is being established as a strategic enterprise asset for the first time.

Establish and enforce a tracking methodology that meets VP Procurement and Finance standards.

Lead supplier business reviews and performance management for strategic suppliers.
Procurement Function Build-Out
Partner with the VP of Procurement and peers to establish sourcing processes, templates, governance, and policy standards for the marketing spend pillar.
