Shipping and Receiving Associate in Beachwood, Ohio at Helix Operating Company LLC

Location: Beachwood, OH (clean, climate-controlled facility)

Shift: 8am - 4:30pm

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

About The Role

Our customers count on us to ship the right parts, on time, every time. As our Shipping & Receiving Associate, you’ll make sure incoming material is received accurately and outbound orders leave on the right carrier with the right paperwork. You’ll work daily in our Epicor ERP system and be the go-to person for carrier accounts and special deliveries.

What You'll Do

• Receive incoming shipments by unloading, counting, and inspecting materials; verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders, and record receipts in Epicor
• Pack, crate, and stage outbound orders, and prepare accurate shipping entries and customer paperwork
• Process domestic and international shipments through UPS, FedEx, and DHL platforms
• Arrange special and expedited deliveries and act as the primary point of contact for carriers
• Move materials to machining, quality, and assembly cells, recording all transactions in Epicor
• Conduct cycle counts and assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with OSHA and ITAR requirements
• Keep the work area clean and organized according to 5S standards

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse, or logistics
• Hands-on experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, or similar carrier systems
• Experience scheduling and ordering special or expedited deliveries
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Forklift license preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized, and experience with an ERP system (Epicor experience is preferred)
