Bookkeeper (Tennessee) in Knoxville, Tennessee at Lift Business Resources

Lift Business Resources is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our remote team. This position requires a strong background in both nonprofit and corporate bookkeeping, along with advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple client accounts independently while providing accurate, timely, and professional support.

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for nonprofit and corporate clients.

• Maintain accurate financial records, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.

• Support budgeting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.

• Communicate directly with clients and coordinate with accounting professionals as needed.

• Professional bookkeeping experience in both nonprofit and corporate environments is required.

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting, including fund accounting and grant tracking.

• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines.

• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification.

• Experience supporting multiple clients in an outsourced bookkeeping environment.

• Experience with bookkeeping cleanup and process improvements.

• Location: Remote – Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or North Carolina residents only.

• Schedule: Part-time; hours vary based on client needs.

• Compensation: $28–$35 per hour, based on experience.
