Towne Home care is seeking qualified and experiencedDirect Support Professionalsaround DSP who will continue our tradition of providing excellent individual - centeredsupportive care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and community based supports toindividuals in privateresidences and in the community on aone-on-one basis in accordance with the individuals ISP (Individualized Service Plan).
- Act as a member of eachindividuals interdisciplinary team to assist with the development of their ISP.
- Assist and support the individual to performdomestic and household tasks.
- Assist individuals in completing personal care activities.
- Assist individuals with mobility and physical therapies/exercises.
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
- Complete thorough logs outlining activities completed and connecting them to the goals of the ISP.
Skills:
- Proven working experience as DSP preferred
- Usage of a smartphone for case info and clocking in and out
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Ability to assess changing situations and respond accordingly.
Requirements:
- Completion of initial required DSP training modules through the College of Direct Supports
- CPR/BLS certification
- 1 Current PPD Test (Single Step PPD) or Chest X-Ray
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Access to a registered vehicle, proof of valid auto insurance, and valid drivers license.
- Must be comfortable driving client daily in own vehicle to various local outings and appointments.

*Pay rate generally begins at $23 depending on details and duties of the case. Applicants must complete all aspects of the hiring process, including application, interview, background check, DDD required training modules,and submission ofall agency required documents.
