The Strategic Risk Services Fraud Manager will oversee the operations of our Strategic Risk Services teams that assist Accertify’ s clients. They will lead and motivate the team of Team leaders to work efficiently and comply with all regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This role primarily involves leading a team of Associates and Senior Associates.
- This role requires collaborating with various departments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Devising strategies and ensuring their effective implementation to deliver exceptional service while maintaining control over capacity, service levels, and costs.
- Developing strategies to enhance productivity year-on-year and effectively managing the team are crucial aspects of the role.
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills is essential to foster a highly engaged and motivated team dedicated to delivering value to our clients.
- The ability to address complex issues independently and collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and share insights is also required.
- Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), continuously reviewing and implementing process enhancements, and upholding high standards of professional service are key responsibilities
- Collaborating with SRS clients to identify new features and functionality for Interceptas, as well as building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to exceed expectations, are integral to the role
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s fraud prevention capabilities
- Acting as a liaison between external clients and internal departments, such as Account Management, Operations, and Development teams, may be necessary.
- Responsible for all HR and recruiting activities for the team, including interviews, coordination of new hire training as well as day-to-day policies and procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of seven years' experience in fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a fraud prevention function
- Ability to effectively lead a large team
- Effective communication and data analytics skills are essential.
- Experience in coaching and developing Team Leaders
- Willingness to oversee a team operating 24x7x365
- The candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree
- A master’s degree or relevant professional certification is preferred
- Interceptas platform knowledge will be preferred
Additional Details:
- Training and schedules will be determined based on client needs.
- For the first 6 months, the role will be entirely on-site in the office, then become hybrid (4 days in the office, 1 day working from home) after the 6-month mark. Accertify reserves the right to convert any positions to fully in-office in the future. Additional work-from-office days may be required throughout the year based on client/department needs.
