Job Description
Allegiant Manufacturing, a one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, located in Kansas City, KS has an opportunity for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
- 1st Shift - 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday
- 2nd Shift - 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday through Thursday

What you can expect......
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll keep our stamping, fabrication and assembly equipment operating safely and efficiently. You'll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support a highly automated manufacturing operation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintenance in or within the same industry is beneficial
- Follows all safety rules, regulations, laws and procedures regarding any and all aspects of the job, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and others
- Follows all preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as assigned by Manager
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) desired by not required
- A maintenance certification is desired or a minimum two to four years related experience and/or training; or experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Technicians provide their own standard hand tools. Specialized tools and company equipment are provided by Allegiant Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of and experience working with PM software is preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot maintenance problems using PLC programs,
- Basic Knowledge of Robotic Operations,
- Able to read Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematics.
