Job Description
AUTO BODY ESTIMATOR
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Auto Body Estimator to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of collision repair procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare accurate estimates while providing customers with a professional and positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspect damaged vehicles and identify all necessary repairs.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software.
- Photograph and document vehicle damage thoroughly.
- Communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines to customers.
- Work directly with insurance adjusters to obtain approvals and negotiate supplements.
- Review insurance estimates and identify missed or incorrectly priced operations.
- Create and submit supplements with supporting photos and documentation.
- Order or coordinate required parts and verify availability.
- Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and production management.
- Monitor repairs and keep customers and insurance companies informed of progress.
- Review completed repairs and final invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain organized repair files and complete documentation.
- Help achieve sales, customer-service, and cycle-time goals.
Qualifications
- Previous auto body estimating or collision repair experience preferred.
- Knowledge of collision repair procedures, vehicle construction, refinishing, and parts.
- Experience with CCC ONE.
- Familiarity with insurance claims and supplement procedures.
- Strong computer, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage several repair files at the same time.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- I-CAR training or certification is a plus.

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays may be required based on business needs.
