Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Agentic Finance based in the United States.
This is a hands-on product leadership role focused on building and scaling AI-powered financial experiences in a regulated environment.
You’ll define the strategy and roadmap for intelligent agents while continuously raising the quality bar for capabilities already in production.
Your work will translate customer needs, model capabilities, regulatory requirements, and platform constraints into useful and trustworthy experiences.
You’ll operate across the full product lifecycle, from high-level roadmap decisions to the details of individual agent interactions.
The role partners closely with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Support.
You’ll use customer feedback, product data, and quality signals to make informed prioritization decisions and improve agent performance.
This opportunity suits a proactive builder who combines strong product judgment with hands-on AI expertise and a high sense of ownership.
- Own agent product strategy and roadmap: Define the vision, priorities, and roadmap for expanding agent capabilities while aligning product development with customer needs and business objectives.
- Build and evolve AI capabilities: Ship new agent functionality and continuously improve existing experiences as underlying models and technologies advance.
- Own agent quality infrastructure: Develop and manage the agent harness or comparable evaluation framework used to measure, monitor, and improve response quality.
- Set and maintain quality standards: Establish high standards for accuracy, reliability, safety, compliance, and customer trust across every agent interaction.
- Translate complex constraints into product decisions: Balance customer expectations, model capabilities, regulatory requirements, and platform limitations when defining product solutions.
- Lead cross-functional execution: Coordinate closely with Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, Legal, Compliance, and Support to bring agent experiences from concept to production.
- Use data to prioritize: Analyze customer, product, and quality signals to identify opportunities, assess performance, and determine roadmap priorities.
- Stay hands-on: Move fluidly between strategic planning, agent evaluation, data analysis, problem-solving, and day-to-day product execution.
- Drive continuous improvement: Identify weaknesses in existing agent experiences and turn them into actionable product, tooling, or process improvements.
- Product management experience: 3–7 years of product management experience, including direct ownership of an AI- or LLM-powered product rather than general exposure to AI.
- Agent evaluation expertise: Experience building or operating an agent harness, evaluation framework, or comparable system for measuring and improving AI product quality.
- Hands-on AI fluency: Regularly use LLM-based tools in your professional and personal workflows and understand how to work effectively with evolving AI capabilities.
- Technical and analytical skills: Proficiency in SQL and a demonstrated ability to independently retrieve, analyze, and interpret product data.
- End-to-end ownership: Comfortable moving between product strategy, detailed agent work, experimentation, and shipping production capabilities.
- Trust and compliance mindset: Strong appreciation for accuracy, safety, customer trust, and regulatory compliance when building products involving financial services and real-money transactions.
- Cross-functional leadership: Able to collaborate effectively with technical, design, research, data, legal, compliance, and customer-facing teams.
- Execution orientation: Thrive in a fast-moving, high-velocity environment where priorities evolve and individuals are expected to take initiative.
- Builder mentality: Highly proactive, driven, low-ego, and comfortable taking ownership from problem definition through execution and iteration.
- Competitive compensation: $160,000–$180,000 base salary, plus stock options.
- Health coverage: Health benefits available from Day 1.
- Retirement benefits: 401(k) plan with company match.
- Remote work: US-based remote-friendly work environment.
- Flexible time off: Flexible time off (FTO) to support sustainable performance and personal needs.
- Career growth: Opportunities to develop professionally within a high-growth environment.
- Mission-driven culture: Work on financial technology designed to have meaningful real-world impact.
- Inclusive environment: A collaborative workplace that values diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds.
