This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - AI & Health Insurance based in India.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst working at the intersection of AI, technology, and health insurance.
You will translate complex business needs into clear requirements, processes, and technical solutions that support digital insurance products.
The role combines client engagement, process analysis, requirements management, testing, and delivery support.
You will collaborate closely with clients, technical teams, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Your expertise will help improve business processes and ensure solutions meet both operational and customer requirements.
The position offers exposure to innovative Insurtech solutions within a diverse, international, and Agile environment.

- Work closely with clients and technical teams to understand business challenges and define appropriate approaches, analytical solutions, and system enhancements.
- Gather, analyze, document, and communicate complex business requirements through interviews, workshops, work sessions, and other structured techniques.
- Design simple to semi-complex business processes and system modifications, translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications and user stories.
- Identify opportunities to improve business activities and processes, providing recommendations supported by sound analysis and judgment.
- Develop business requirements documents, user stories, process documentation, and other materials required to support solution delivery.
- Design complex test scenarios and oversee application testing to ensure client requirements are correctly incorporated into system designs.
- Support QA, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release activities through defect analysis, change management, and resolution tracking.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to estimate task effort, monitor delivery activities, and help ensure projects remain aligned with agreed timelines.
- Analyze systems and related data to identify actionable insights and support informed business and product decisions.
- Contribute to the planning and allocation of work for other Business Analysts when required.
- Maintain and improve process and procedural documentation while developing a practical understanding of technical development cycles for web portals and mobile applications.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
- At least 1 year of experience working on AI projects within the insurance domain.
- Previous professional experience in the health insurance industry is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience with business analysis fundamentals, including requirements definition, requirements-to-solution translation, process analysis, facilitation, documentation, and UAT.
- Strong understanding of Agile approaches to prioritizing work across epics, user stories, and sprints.
- Proven experience working in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
- Insurtech experience is preferred, particularly exposure to digital insurance platforms and technology-enabled insurance processes.
- Knowledge of process documentation, system functionality, data integration, and workflow documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple activities and consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Technical writing experience is a plus.
- Health insurance-related certification from INS, LOMA, III, or an equivalent organization is an advantage.
