Customer Service & Sales Support | Part-Time with Full-Time Potential

Dettlaff & Company, Inc. is seeking a personable, organized and motivated Commercial Insurance Account Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with Property & Casualty insurance experience who enjoys working directly with business owners and helping service and grow commercial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain commercial Property & Casualty accounts
• Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, certificates, billing questions and coverage updates
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers and underwriters
• Assist with renewals and account reviews
• Gather information and quote new commercial business
• Prepare applications, proposals and other insurance documentation
• Support the sales process from initial quote through policy issuance
• Identify opportunities to improve coverage and expand client relationships
• Maintain accurate and timely client records
• Provide friendly, professional and responsive customer service

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Commercial insurance experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented
• Comfortable communicating with business owners, carriers and underwriters
• Ability to work independently while being part of a small, collaborative team
