Billing Assistant (BA) in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Inteli-Care LLC

The Billing Assistant (BA) is responsible for supporting the Billing Department with daily billing operations, payroll-related tasks, and financial reporting. This role helps ensure billing records, claims, timesheets, and payment documentation are accurate, complete, and processed on time while maintaining confidentiality and supporting the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Billing Department with daily billing and administrative tasks.
• Validate employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Process electronic visit verifications (EVVs).
• Enter remittance advice (RA) information accurately and promptly.
• Process claim denials and submit corrected claims as needed.
• Support payroll-related functions and prepare reports for the Billing Department.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential billing records.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
• EMR/LMS software experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• A friendly disposition and ability to work well with diverse groups of people
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
