Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator helps bring the Powerhouse brand to life through social media, content creation, events, advertising, and community engagement. This role works closely with dealership leaders and vendor partners to create marketing campaigns that drive awareness, customer engagement, and business growth. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and excited to contribute ideas in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule engaging content for social media and digital platforms.
  • Support dealership promotions, advertising campaigns, and special events.
  • Capture photos and videos of vehicles, team members, and community activities.
  • Help coordinate sponsorships, grand openings, and dealership events.
  • Monitor marketing performance and share insights with leadership.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all dealership locations and marketing channels.
  • Monitor online reputation platforms and support customer engagement initiatives.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze marketing metrics, and prepare reports for leadership review.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors, advertising partners, media representatives, and creative agencies.
  • Assist with inventory merchandising and vehicle marketing efforts.
  • Stay informed of marketing trends, digital strategies, and competitive activity within the automotive industry.
  • Support special projects and additional marketing initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and marketing software platforms.
  • Professional demeanor with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
  • Weekday availability, with flexibility for occasional evening and weekend events.

Education and Experience

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of marketing, communications, or event coordination experience preferred.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media management platforms, email marketing tools, or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Automotive industry experience is beneficial but not required.

Work Environment
This position is primarily performed in a dealership and office environment with regular collaboration across multiple departments and locations. The role may involve attending dealership events, community activities, content creation sessions, and promotional functions. This position typically works Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Marketing doesn't always happen during business hours, so occasional evening and weekend availability is needed to support community events, sponsorships, dealership promotions, and special projects.

What This Role Requires

  • Ability to sit and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to move throughout dealership facilities and event locations as needed.
  • Ability to operate cameras, mobile devices, and marketing technology tools.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry marketing materials up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
