Bakery Clerk in Cayey at TPIS

We are looking for a dynamic and service-oriented Bakery Clerk to join the team of one of our clients in the supermarket industry. The person will be responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and displaying bakery and pastry products, ensuring their freshness, quality, and excellent presentation. In addition, they will provide customer service and maintain the bakery area clean, organized, and ready to offer an exceptional shopping experience.

• Operate ovens and bakery equipment safely and efficiently.

• Prepare, bake, and finish bakery products according to established recipes and standards.

• Decorate cakes and products according to orders and required presentation.

• Verify the quality, baking, freshness, and appearance of products.

• Package, label, display, and restock merchandise in the sales area.

• Keep the area, equipment, and utensils clean, organized, and sanitized.

• Comply with safety, hygiene, and proper food handling standards.

• Provide support with different tasks in the bakery department according to production needs.

• Previous experience in bakery, pastry, or baking (preferred).

• High school diploma or equivalent completed.

• Basic knowledge of bakery product preparation and baking.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Monday through Sunday

• Rotating shifts

• 5:00 AM to 6:30 PM

• $10.75 per hour
