Job Description:
Luscious & Sweet Bakery is seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator / Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking, strong decorating skills, and experience creating specialty and wedding cakes. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, artistic, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
Position Type:
Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to bakery recipes and standards
Decorate cakes with buttercream, fondant, and other techniques
Design and decorate specialty cakes, including wedding cakes and custom orders
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with food safety standards
Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory when needed
Ensure product quality and consistency in all baked items
Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in baking and cake decorating
Experience creating wedding cakes preferred
Strong fine art and design skills
Basic math skills to calculate ingredients and food costs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
