Job Summary

Performs all non-invasive diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures by selecting an appropriate transducer, adjusting equipment controls based on test parameters to magnetically capture an image.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Certificate of Completion from an approved Ultrasound program
• 1-3 years of practical experience
• Understanding of the Physics and other sciences within the field of Ultrasound
• Comprehends cross-sectional anatomy including normal and abnormal variants.
• Ability to discuss ultrasound procedures with patients, family members, the Radiologist or other attending staff members as required
• ARDMS registration preferred
• CPR required
