Position Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at theUniversity of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico invites applications for afull-time Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor . The primary appointment would be at the Universityof New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) - Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC) campus , Department of Anesthesiology & Critical Care Medicine . Successful candidates will join a group ofexperienced Anesthesiologists.
Rio Rancho, New Mexico boasts 300+ sunny days per year and is a primelocation for outdoor activities such as climbing, hiking, skiing, and more! Albuquerque alone offers more than 400 miles of hiking trails.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must hold unrestricted medicallicense
- Must hold M.D. or equivalent
- Must be Board Certified by theAmerican Board of Anesthesiology or within three years of residency and activein the certification process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Resident Teaching Experience
- Research and Scholarly Activities
- Experience Working in Trauma CallAssignments
- A demonstrated commitment todiversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working withbroadly diverse communities
