Peace Industries, Inc (dba Spotnails), an award-winning distributor of pneumatic stapling tools, collated fasteners, and replacement parts, headquartered in Rolling Meadows IL, is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team, help us continue to build a fantastic workplace, and help our customers grow their businesses.
Reporting directly to the Product Manager, as a Quality Control Specialist, you will partner with other team members to make sure we can provide timely shipments of high-quality products to our customers. You will also work collaboratively with team members, as well as customers, and suppliers, to develop products and processes that maximize the value we bring to the supply chain.

To the qualified Quality Control Specialist we offer:
- $60,000 - $65,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience

Primary duties of the Quality Control Specialist:
- Developing & maintaining inspection techniques, procedures, and documentation for incoming goods
- Ensuring & communicating compliance with standards and industry regulations. (Building Codes and Government/Environmental)
- Participating on a team working directly with customers to develop manufacturing process improvements using automation
- Creating detailed schematics, diagrams and technical drawings using CAD
- Leading CAPA activities (Corrective Action & Preventive Action Plans)
- Supporting qualification and ongoing monitoring of 3rd party manufacturing partners.

- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to use CAD software to create detailed schematics, diagrams and technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude
- Available for occasional travel
