According to the established policies and procedures, cleans and sanitizes ancillary and patient support areas of the hospital in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation and orderliness throughout the area.

Must be able to read, write and follow written instructions and product labels.

Must be able to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend the English language.

Move furniture and other equipment; prepares set-up for meeting; and cleans off-site and contracted areas of the hospital. Cleaning consists of: offices, halls, stairwells, stairs, elevators, diagnostic area and all of their furnishings, floors, halls and restroom facilities.

Distributes linen to all patient care areas.

Performs all routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning on a timely basis. Includes high/low dusting, wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning, cleaning of restroom facilities and floor care.

Assist clinical staff at their directive as appropriate.
