Employment Referral at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

This is a temporary position

During this time, you may float through one or more of these positions:

• Environmental Services
• Food Services
• Safety & Transport Tech
• Safety Companion

• Patient Access (Registration)

Once you graduate from the program, and our next opening becomes available, as long as both the applicant and hiring manager agree on proceeding, you can then move into a full-time or part-time position (A full-time or part-time position is not guaranteed).

Progress Meetings:

1. After 30 Days of Employment:

• New hire has check in meeting with HR & Coordinator to discuss opportunities and interest

2. 60 Days of Full-Time Employment.

• Employee has formal evaluation with manager

3. After Six Months of Full-Time Employment:

• Employee becomes eligible for tuition assistance

4. After one year of employment:

• Employee has formal evaluation with manager
• Employee meets with one or multiple: HR representative, hiring manager, Coordinator and/or peer support specialist to discuss career path goals
• Employee has formal evaluation with manager

Tuition Assistance:

Following six months of successful full time employment, employee becomes eligible for full tuition assistance including books and fees.

• Program is paid for in full in exchange for one-three-year post-graduate commitment to UKSC depending on program
  1. If position in relevant academic program isn’t open, employee will be considered first for a transfer once position becomes available
• If staff member separates employment, receives a failing grade, drops a course, and/or does not receive full credit hours as defined by the educational institution and/or program, the staff member is required to reimburse UKSC tuition received for that course.
